After more than 2 years of hard development work in secret, we are now proud to finally present MID50 to you: Even more original look and feel, even more driving fun and range and even more compatible vehicle models
More power and more range
The conversion kit is supplied with a peak output of up to 20 hp. The power can be adjusted to the desired value using the app. For a moped operating license with our TÜV parts certificate, the power must be throttled to 4 kW final. The 60 km/h for Simson mopeds also remain with the certificate. 2 battery modules, each with a capacity of 2 kWh, enable a range of up to 110 km.
Original look and full compatibility
We have chosen a completely new approach for the drive module and applied for a patent: Instead of removing the entire combustion engine, only the central housing of the combustion engine is replaced and the side cover and cylinder are reused. This preserves the original appearance and functions such as the speedometer drive. Various adapter plates allow the use of side covers and frame mounting points from a wide range of 2-wheeler manufacturers and brands. Virtually any 50cc two-wheeler with a mid-engine can be electrified with MID50 and the appropriate adapter kit. We currently only offer adapter kits for the Simson Schwalbe and S50, S51, S70 models. If you are interested in another model, you can either make a reservation for the respective model or develop the adapters yourself with the Adapt-it-Yourself-kit.
