Simson Schwalbe electrified by Second Ride

🚀 The fastest e-moped in Europe: Due to a special regulation of the GDR, the Simson mopeds electrified with the Second Ride conversion kit with original registration are the only e-mopeds and e-scooters that are allowed to drive 60km/h with a car driver’s license instead of the usual 45km/h (clarification: these are not new vehicles, but restored used vehicles whose original GDR operating license still exists and is adapted to the electric drive by modification approval).

• lovingly restored by hand:
  • New parts: Tank, heart box cover, rims and wear parts
  • All functional systems such as chassis, brakes, etc. are technically overhauled and adjusted with the utmost care
  • Most of the other parts are still original from the GDR and may have a corresponding patina
  • incl. modification approval at the TÜV. You only have to have the papers changed at your registration office.

Technical data:

• 5.5PS (4kW). This is 50% more than the combustion engine and provides enormous driving pleasure!
• Recuperation: The motor recharges the battery when braking, thus extending the range and protecting the brakes.
• Weight: approx. 80kg (+-2kg) (also suitable for carrying on many bike racks on cars or campervans)
• Battery: 2 kWh / 55km with one battery | a total of 4 kWh / 110km with two batteries
• Charger: 350W enables 9km per hour recharging. 1000W enables up to 26km per hour recharging
