Our MID50 conversion kits can be used to electrify almost all 50-125cc vehicles that have a mid-engine (engine centered between front and rear wheel axle and rear wheel driven by chain or belt). The drive module and battery are identical on all models, only the adapter kits for mounting are model-specific.   
We have not yet developed a suitable adapter kit for the Simson Star / Spatz / Habicht / Sperber, but will do so when the target number of reservations has been reached. The more interest shown, the higher the prioritization. Above all, however, you will benefit from a high place on the waiting list with your reservation.    
There is no risk involved. The amount will be credited to your final order as a deposit. You can also cancel your reservation up until the final order if you change your mind.

Performance and speed:
- Up to 20 hp and 90 km/h possible in open mode
- For road approval, the throttle must be set to the original speed and 1.4 times the original power and permanently stored. After final throttling, it is no longer possible to increase the engine speed or power.

Continue to use the original parts of the combustion engine:
- The corresponding adapter kits allow the side parts of the original engine to be screwed on.
- Unfortunately, in many cases you cannot simply screw your cylinder onto the MID50 drive module as the liner is in the way. If you have a defective cylinder, you can remove the liner mechanically. The cylinders we offer have a liner that has already been removed.  
 
Revolutionary battery technology:
- The 2 kWh 50V battery is built with a revolutionary and patented technology from Second Ride. If a cell should ever be defective, it can be replaced instead of having to replace the entire battery. 
- In addition, the technology enables the best passive cooling performance on the market for removable batteries. This means that charging times of just one hour will be possible in the future and overheating while driving will be virtually impossible. 
- The battery and vehicle can be controlled with the Second Ride app and can now also be updated wirelessly

- The Simson brand is not associated with Second Ride products. The brand is used to demonstrate the compatibility of our products with vehicles and add-on parts.

- By purchasing a reservation, you secure a place on our waiting list and a voucher for the amount paid.
